Just finished Non State Actor. I absolutely loved the series. I really can’t wait for the next series about the PGS guys comes out. Any hint as to when that might be? The latest book was fantastic!
Probably going to be about a year. Got a few other projects ahead of it.
There will be some more staggering of series, going forward. More like Maelstrom Rising. It should give the next series time to breathe (as well as the author).
To begin, my first thought, after reading through the first two or three books of yours, was “This guys the no B.S. real deal”. The next thought was “ I need a break, some R&R”, and I spent some time reading somebody else for a while. Some background. MOS 2111. Not a sniper, but I maintained 5th Marine sniper’s weapons and knew all the big names enough to say hello to. I brazed the PU scope to the side of the M2 Browning for Gunny Hathcock, and was general fixit and go to for Lt. Commander Horowitz back in the day. I also went through Hue, from day 2, and only recently retripped on it. It’s left me somewhat more philosophical about things than I used to be. I’m just turned 78, and now I’m philosophical. I also just lost a friend, an Iraqi era Marine who had been there and done that, and never really come all the way home from there. I talked him through eight years of the bad part, over many a beer and Jameson, and it helped both of us. Anyway, I work in aerospace engineering, critical missile and engine tech, and I’m not able to comment on anything that isn’t published, with a solid Defense Department sign-off. But if it’s made a major magazine or one of the “preferred” blogs, I can chat about it, to the limits of my security brief. And for what it’s worth, the attitude of the serving military personnel I deal with every day toward the Chinese threat is at least as great as any of your characters.
Finish it and it was great I can’t wait for the next one! Out of curiosity is the next book in this or the spin off series next it are you working on a few other things beforehand? The cartel and Mexico storyline were absolutely riveting and completely real to the times!
